Mat Pilates UPDATE ✨
Soon, our Mat Pilates classes will be moving to a new format - and I think many of you will love it.
Why?
Our most booked class of 2025 was SHAPES™, a hybrid Pilates, Barre and Power Yoga workout that uses light weights. One of the biggest reasons it’s so popular is the structure. Clear blocks within the workout (core, glutes, legs, arms), timers throughout so you know when to push and when to recover, and a routine that stays consistent for several weeks so you can feel and measure progress before movements change.
From February/March, Mat Pilates will follow a similar structure 🙌🏼
Classes will focus on classic Pilates movements, layered with contemporary elements, and the routine will stay consistent for several weeks at a time. This gives you space to build strength, control and confidence before the challenge evolves. Mat Pilates will remain bodyweight-only with no equipment, grounded, and primarily mat-focused with very little or no standing.
Alongside this, we’ll also be expanding our timetable into the new ground floor Studio 4, including Infrared Pilates, Hot Yoga and more.
Infrared Pilates will have a different style to Mat Pilates. Expect the inclusion of equipment, and some standing work, all within the challenge of a heated infrared environment.
