Service Description

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 A classic Pilates class focused on building strong foundations. Working on the mat, you’ll develop core strength, posture and control through precise, purposeful movement. Ideal for realigning, rebalancing and improving how your body moves and feels, with options provided to move how you need and progress week by week. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 & 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 • Core strength and deep abdominal control • Improved posture and spinal alignment • Better movement quality and body awareness • Increased stability, balance and control 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 • 𝗘𝗾𝗎𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (all is provided): Pilates mat and small props where appropriate • 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼: Low to moderate intensity with slow, controlled, precision-based movement • 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲: Calm, focused and instructional 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 Mat Pilates is coached by Gerry Leanne, qualified L3 Mat Pilates instructor whose precise, music-supported teaching style emphasises control, alignment and quality of movement. Expect clear cues, progressive structure and a supportive environment that helps you build strong foundations and confidence in your body. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 • Options and alternatives are provided throughout • Previous injuries, particularly affecting the spine, hips or shoulders, should be disclosed before class. A health questionnaire must be completed before attendance • 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿: Suitable for everyone unless specific medical instruction has been given. Not suitable for anyone unable to hold quadruped (hands and knees) positions for longer than 5 minutes. • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: Suitable during pregnancy with appropriate modifications.
