๐—”๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜€ Masterclass: Strength is an extended technique workshop focused on learning and refining the fundamental movements used in strength training. Rather than lifting heavy, this session uses light weights and controlled practice to help you understand and master proper movement mechanics. Youโ€™ll work through key patterns such as squats, lunges, hip hinges and deadlifts, as well as upper body movements for the shoulders, chest and back. By slowing things down and focusing on technique, this workshop helps you build strong movement foundations that improve performance and reduce the risk of injury in your regular training. Masterclasses run for 60-90 minutes, allowing plenty of time to practise each movement and receive individual coaching. ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜€ & ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—”๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜€ โ€ข Squats and lunges โ€ข Hip hinge and deadlift mechanics โ€ข Upper body pushing and pulling movements โ€ข Movement control and stability โ€ข Confidence with strength equipment ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—˜๐˜…๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ โ€ข ๐—˜๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ (all is provided): A variety of strength equipment may be used including barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and other training tools to help you understand how movements translate across different equipment โ€ข ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† & ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ผ: Low to moderate intensity with a strong focus on technique and control. Lighter weights are used so you can concentrate fully on learning and refining each movement โ€ข ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ: Educational, supportive and coach-led. Expect detailed guidance, hands-on coaching and plenty of time to practise and ask questions ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ Sessions are led by Gerry, a Level 4 Master Personal Trainer, Level 3 Pilates Instructor, Level 3 Reformer Pilates Instructor, and Level 4 specialist in Low Back Pain and Obesity. Gerryโ€™s coaching focuses on helping people understand movement properly so they can train safely, build strength and develop confidence in fundamental exercises. ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ Participants may be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before attending so we can ensure the session is suitable and provide appropriate guidance.
